MISSISSIPPI LAW ENFORCEMENT TORCH RUN

DISCIPLINE: T-Shirt Design (Pro-Bono)

DESCRIPTION: A commemorative t-shirt for the Mississippi Law Enforcement Torch Run, an annual event in which law enforcement agencies from across the state carry the "Flame of Hope" in a relay to kick off the Special Olympics Mississippi State Summer Games. The design celebrates the organization's commitment to supporting athletes with physical and intellectual disabilities while promoting unity, community engagement, and the spirit of the Torch Run.

The artwork incorporates a law enforcement shield accented with thin stripes to represent the officers who participate in the event. Stars symbolize both the patriotism and service of law enforcement and the excellence of the athletes. A subtle grunge texture conveys the determination and resilience shared by both the officers and competitors. At the center of the composition, a runner carrying the Flame of Hope serves as the focal point, emphasizing the significance of the relay and its mission to unite communities in support of Special Olympics Mississippi.

A design for 2027 has been scheduled.
